Digital China – seminar at PAIH

On 6-7 April, School of Law and Economy of China in Warsaw and Polska Agencja Inwestycji i Handlu (PAIH) organized a seminar called “Digital China”. The main object of the classes was to learn about the role of the Internet when doing business transactions with Chinese partners. The seminar was not only a part of the weekend lectures for the students but was also open to the polish entrepreneurs who signed up for the event.

We had the opportunity to listen to the lectures delivered by world-class experts:

  • Jeongmin Seong, Senior Fellow at McKinsey Global Institute in Shanghai, where he leads research teams dealing with innovations, technology and Chinese economic transition,  alumni of Harvard MBA, and
  • Lauren Hallanan, an expert in the field of Key Opinion Leaders, e-marketing in China, author of „Working with bloggers, influencers and KOLs”.

Our guests focused on recent research concerning the Chinese economy, trends in e-commerce and China’s relation with the world, as well as means to use Chinese social media when entering the Middle Kingdom’s market.

We would like to sincerely thank our speakers and PAIH for the chance to organize such an event. We believe that the knowledge and experience passed on during the seminar will be of much value to the students of the School and Polish SMEs.
