Wen Xiang is an assistant professor and S.C.Van Fellow of Chinese Law at Faculty of Law, University of Copenhagen, Denmark. He obtained his Ph.D. in Law at Faculty of Law, Ghent University, Belgium, and Master of Laws in Environmental Law at School of Law, Wuhan University, China. In addition, he has interned at DG Health and Consumers of the European Commission, Brussels, and the World Health Organization, Geneva. Wen Xiang was a Visiting Scholar (2016) at School of Law, Duke University, USA, and a Post-doctoral Research Fellow for a KU 2016 Excellence Programme at University of Copenhagen. He was an Associate Fellow (2014-2016) of Center for International Sustainable Development Law, Canada. His research interests lie in the fields of environmental law and policy, climate change and energy law, risk regulation, investment law and China-related topics in an interdisciplinary context of law, culture, politics and economy. Wen Xiang is a founding member of Nordic-Chinese Forum for International Economic Law in Denmark.
